Licensing

Licensing inquiries welcome.

Licensing inquiries welcome — all of them. Book covers, album art, apparel, home goods, editorial, packaging, tattoos, the thing you haven't pitched yet — I'm open. My work suits projects that want ornate detail, strong feminine imagery, and an aesthetic that lives between classical and alternative. Reach out and let's talk.

What I license for

Strong fits

Book covers

Fantasy, dark fantasy, romantasy, horror, urban fantasy. Self-published authors and small presses welcome. Flat-fee per cover, with optional series rates.

Album & EP art

Alt, goth, punk, metal, witch house, dream pop. Streaming-only releases through physical pressings. Includes back cover and inner-sleeve variations.

Tabletop & game art

RPG supplements, tarot/oracle decks, indie card games. Single illustrations through full deck commissions. Royalty + advance structures available.

Apparel & merchandise

Alternative fashion, capsule collections, limited-run drops. Wholesale royalty model with quality approval baked in.

Tattoo flash

Single designs and curated sheets, licensed to individual artists or studios. Non-exclusive per studio by default.

Editorial & packaging

Magazine illustrations, zines, packaging for spirits and cosmetics, branded printed matter. One-time or limited-term use.

Not on this list? Pitch it anyway — interesting projects are welcome.

How it works

Three steps

1.

You inquire

Fill out the form below with your project details. The more specific you are, the faster I can give a useful response.

2.

I review and reply

Within 3-5 business days, I confirm fit and outline what a deal would look like — terms, structure, and a fee or royalty proposal.

3.

We draft an agreement

If we both want to move forward, I send a licensing agreement. Sign, payment, and you have your art.

Pricing

Two structures

Flat fee — one-time payment for defined usage. Best for book covers, album art, single illustrations, and short-term campaigns. Pricing depends on the piece, term, and territory.

Advance + royalty — upfront non-refundable advance against a percentage of sales (typically 5-12% of wholesale, depending on the deal). Best for products with ongoing volume: apparel lines, stationery, tarot/oracle decks, multi-SKU collections.

Five things determine pricing: usage, term, territory, exclusivity, and whether you want flat or royalty. We figure the right structure together once I understand your project.

Common questions

FAQ

Do you offer exclusive licensing?

Yes, on most pieces. Exclusive deals typically cost 2-4x non-exclusive and are limited to defined categories (e.g., exclusive in apparel for 2 years; non-exclusive everywhere else). Some signature pieces aren't available for exclusivity at any price.

Can I commission a new piece for my project instead of licensing an existing one?

Absolutely — that's a separate conversation but happy to do both. Custom commissions are priced differently (see the commissions page). The licensing terms for a commissioned piece are usually built into the commission agreement.

What's your turnaround for responding to inquiries?

3-5 business days for the first reply. If you have a tight deadline, mention it in the form and I'll prioritize.

Do you have a standard contract?

I work from a base template adapted to each deal. For larger arrangements I recommend both parties have legal review. For straightforward use (single book cover, single album cover) the template is usually plenty.

Can I see more of your portfolio?

Beyond what's on this site, I'm happy to send additional WIPs, unreleased pieces, and process examples once a project is in motion. Mention what you're looking for in the form.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on five things: usage (which products), term (how long), territory (where it sells), exclusivity, and whether you want an advance + royalty or a flat fee. We figure the right structure together once I understand your project.
